Unit 2: Design and Making Practice
Authenticity control – research and preparation may be completed under limited supervision. However, all work, with the exception of research and preparation, should be completed by students under informal supervision. This means that the centre must ensure that plagiarism does not take place, that sources used by students are clearly recorded and that each students' preparation for the final production of the work is his/her own. Feedback control – teachers may review students' work and may provide advice at a general level. Teachers, however, must not provide detailed and specific advice on how the draft may be improved to meet the assessment criteria.

Legalisation of drugs in the UK Introduction In this essay I shall try to investigate the impact that the legalisation of drugs in the UK would have on our society and culture. The argument for and against legalisation (and more recently the classification) of drugs has been openly debated since the Opium Wars in the nineteenth Century, with differing views from different groups of society. I intend to draw conclusions from what history has shown us and interpret my findings into a view of the future.
What is the difference between a master's degree by coursework and a Master's degree by research in terms of value and opportunities gained after completion?
(I have assumed that the question is being asked by someone who is planning to go into the job market, not for a PhD. )The coursework master's is best for those who have limited or no prior preparation in the subject. This way they get the broadest exposure to the subject. For those who have a strong undergrad preparation already, the research option is better because it exposes them to something very different and also very valuable (even in industry). Of course, there's no reason someone without a strong ugrad can't do research—it can be very rewarding for them, too.

English Language - Spoken Language Essay
Hi guys, So as part of my GCSE Coursework i've got an essay coming up in a few weeks on the evolution of the English language, analyzing text speak etc. Now, throughout all of last year I was getting straight B's and literally just 1 or two marks off an A, and after getting yet another two B's in my Lord of the Flies mock and actual essay, i'm so gutted I can't quite reach an A. So, does anyone have any tips, advice, past essay examples, marking schemes, anything they can give me that could possibly help? Ideally that will help me reach an A or even A* (it's worth a shot I guess!) Cheers Adam well remember if you get a grade b overall in your coursework which is now worth 40% cos speaking and listening have been scrapped and a grade A in exam (60%) then your likely to get A overall (Original post by AdamCee)Hi guys, So as part of my GCSE Coursework i've got an essay coming up in a few weeks on the evolution of the English language, analyzing text speak etc.
